MAPLEWOOD PARK WATERFALLS

Breathtaking scenic views make this park a must-see spot in Rochester. The diverse park stretches alongside two miles of Lake Avenue. Over the years, the spirit of involvement by the Maplewood Community Association has enhanced the beauty and enjoyment of the park.

MAPLEWOOD ROSE GARDEN

With nearly 300 varieties of roses on a 1-acre site the Maplewood Rose Park is a beautiful site in the heart of Rochester. Peak bloom is the second week in June celebrated during the Rose Festival.

GENESEE RIVER TRAIL

The Genesee Riverway Trail (GRT) is an off-road trail for walking, running and bicycling along the Genesee River. It extends through the scenic, historic and cultural heart of Rochester, from the Erie Canal to downtown and Lake Ontario. It provides pedestrian access to the Genesee River, its scenic gorge, three waterfalls, eight pedestrian bridges, and eleven parks, including four historic parks designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.
